Introducing Enhanced Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR) Resolution Status Tracking for Greater Transparency & Compliance
At Concord, we continuously strive to improve our compliance tools to help businesses navigate data privacy regulations effectively. We're excited to introduce enhanced Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR) resolution tracking, improving transparency, automated workflows, and backend reporting/auditing for compliance teams.
What’s New?
This update refines how DSARs are tracked and categorized, offering businesses more structured reporting and visibility into request outcomes.
Key Enhancements:
- New Resolution Status Field: Businesses can now categorize DSAR resolutions more precisely, improving compliance reporting.
- Historical Data Migration: Previously resolved requests have been migrated to the "Completed" status by default but can be adjusted if needed.
- Enhanced Reporting & Auditing: The new resolution status is now included in the compliance request log table for better tracking and auditing
.

New Resolution Status Categories
To provide additional clarity and consistency when it comes to DSAR resolutions, we’ve introduced the following statuses:
- Completed: The request was processed and completed as expected.
- No Records Found: No matching records were found to process the request.
- Partially Completed: Some but not all records were found and processed.
- Denied: The request was reviewed but denied (e.g., legal exemption, identity verification failure).
- Withdrawn: The requester withdrew the request before completion.
These statuses will soon be added to our documentation, ensuring businesses can seamlessly incorporate them into their workflows.
Why This Matters
With this update, Concord continues to enhance privacy request tracking, helping businesses maintain transparency, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
- Improved Compliance & Record-Keeping: Easily document the outcome of DSARs for auditing and regulatory reporting.
- Clearer Communication: Standardized resolution statuses help people better understand the outcome of each request.
- Enhanced Efficiency: Reduce manual tracking and improve automation opportunities with structured resolution statuses.
With this update, Concord continues to enhance privacy request tracking, helping businesses maintain transparency, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
