Ideaship Investment & Partnership
Concord announced today that it has received an investment from Ideaship, a patent leveraged venture capital firm that provides patent development support for early stage startups. The investment will further assist Concord’s development and deployment of its personal data privacy solution.
“We are excited to join the founding team of Concord. We were inspired by Concord’s innovative culture and ingenuity and the leadership of CEO Dash Lavine. Concord’s personal data privacy and control solutions represent a paradigm shift in the industry. Their product is poised to become the standard for personal data privacy as the degradation of quality personal information collected through traditional means becomes irrefutable,” commented Michael Lubitz, Founder and Managing Director of Global Technology Transfer (GTT) Group and Ideaship Co-Founder.
“We applaud Concord for developing a new approach to data privacy, with a proprietary new solution to protect privacy while benefiting both customers and brands,” said Kazutoshi Yasunaga, IP Specialist for Ideaship and Director for Panasonic Intellectual Property Corporation of America.
“Ideaship is a unique collaboration between Global Technology Transfer Group and Panasonic Intellectual Property Corporation of America that provides extremely important patent consulting services built around both protecting and maximizing the value of companies like Concord. Many startups underestimate the expertise and time required to ensure that their companies are truly driving their patent coverage forward in the right way, and we are excited to be one of the select companies that has partnered with Ideaship to do just that,” stated Dash Lavine, Co-Founder and CEO of Concord.
